Knowing well that books are great assets and taking inspiration from the once First Lady of America, we at SIS have created the environment and atmosphere to reignite passion for reading amongst students through our library. Our library is a place where new books are added day by day for both students and teachers. It is well equipped to cater to the needs of the different age groups.

Programs
At SIS, we have online reading programmes, wherein the students are assigned books according to their Class levels.

Book Flix is aimed at improving comprehension skills through Class I - III This program contains fiction and nonfiction parts coupled with a lot of activities.
True Flix is for Class IV - VII and it aims at developing reading skills as well as knowledge related to various facts as these books are non-fiction based. These have videos about the topic too.
Litpro measures a student’s reading level through assessments which are conducted twice a year and gives a Lexile score. The children are assessed through a quiz on the assigned books which will improve their Lexile levels. Throughout the year the teacher can monitor a student’s improved reading ability.
